I have never seen these before.
An old time rail road draw bridge over the canal.
With a newer rail bridge in the background.
And a still newer street bridge in the foreground.

And here is where the canal was built over a stream. Notice that the left side of the canal is now missing. And in the distance I hear the sound of the interstate. From looking at this site it seems we build a new faster form of travel about ever fifty years.

Berkeley Springs State Park. West Virginia.
I took a bath in the bath tub that Washington made here. It felt great when I was done. Like cool oak leaf tea brewed in fresh mineral water. Water temp. is 74 year around.
